Why You Should Be Working With This All Terrain Pram

Mamas & Papas All Terrain Prams

All terrain prams are pushchairs that can be used on rough surfaces such as cobblestones, woodland paths and muddy fields. They are made of large rubber all-terrain tires in contrast to standard pushchairs that have air-filled tyres.

They typically have a reversible seat (world or parent-facing) and can be adapted to a carrycot or car seat. They should be lightweight and easy to fold so they are suitable for travel.

1. Mama & Papas Ocarro

The Mamas & Papas Ocarro pushchair is a great choice for families seeking an infant stroller that can take on all types of terrain. It's large and robust equipped with dual suspension as well as big wheels. The seat can be placed in a flat position to promote healthy sleep. It comes with an holder for cups and rain cover and sun canopy for your excursions. The Ocarro is easy to steer and a breeze to fold. It takes less than five minutes to fold it and the handle is shaped to give you the ultimate control.

The Ocarro is equipped with a variety of features that will keep your baby entertained. They include a head cushion with padded chest pads and much more. It also has multiple recline positions including flat recline to ensure healthy naps on the go and can be used either the direction of parent or child facing. It has trims that reflect light as well as an integrated ventilation system to keep baby cool and comfortable.

It's a very nice style and the materials are luxurious. The brown leather trim around the handles and bumper bar was my favorite. It is heavier than other buggies we tested and it's a quality product. This is a great stroller to use for trips to the park, strolls in the countryside, or getting on and off public transport.

The Ocarro can be purchased as a four-piece pushchair or as a part of a complete travel system which includes a carrycot as well as a car seat. It is suitable for babies and includes everything you need for your big adventures. The carrycot features the ability to lie flat and a apron with a magnetic clasp that can be folded away quickly and quietly. It also has a hood and air vent to keep baby cosy in all weathers.

2. Cybex Avi

The Cybex Avi is a specialized running stroller that is designed to allow you and your baby to run together in comfort. It is light, easy to steer and has a unique frontwheel that is able to be locked. The adapters available allow it to be used with any Cybex infant car seat or gb infant vehicle.

Avi is also available in "One Box", which includes the frame and seat pack and also the canopy all in one box. It is very easy to assemble, saving you both time and money.

This is an excellent choice for parents who are committed to their running and who want to keep active with their babies. It was designed to run with infants as young as they are, and can be used with any Cybex or gb car seat. It features a one-pull harness tightening system that is quick and simple and has an inbuilt foot brake to give maximum control.

It has a sleek air-filled tire design, as well as a soft and adjustable sports seat. It has reflective details to improve visibility, and has an XL Sun canopy that has UPF protection of 50+.

It is not recommended to use on rocky or hard surfaces as it doesn't have a reclined position suitable for infants. It can also only be used for walking and not running or jogging.

Genevieve Gregson is a three-time Olympic finalist and 2x world champion finalist. She is also a running coach for Gregson Running and an Australian record holder. So we asked her to test the Cybex Avi running stroller through its paces, and this is what she was able to say:

3. BOB Sport Utility

BOB Sport Utility is the perfect stroller for outdoor adventures off the beaten path. It has a fixed front wheel for more stability when jogging or hiking pneumatic knobby tires on high-impact polymer wheels as well as a hand brake to provide downhill control. It is also easy to store and transport thanks to its two-step folding system. This baby jogger also features an adjustable handlebar to fit parents of all sizes, and a large canopy that has an open window so you can watch your child. You can also pair it with a car seat for your infant to make the ultimate travel system.

The BOB Sport Utility's only disadvantage is its lack of maneuverability. It received a score of 6 out of 10. It is necessary to tip it back and can be difficult in tight spaces, such as stores and cafes. It's easy to push on flat surfaces though, with an excellent roll and a movable tracking system that stayed straight throughout our tests.

The stroller features single-action brakes that are simple to use and sandal-friendly. It also has a deceleration handbrake that helps you easily slow down while running and eases the strain of having to use your feet. The only drawback to this feature is that you need remove the brake lever to activate it, which can be annoying when you're running or are in a hurry.

BOB offers accessory adapters that allow you to utilize a variety of infant car seats in conjunction with this stroller. This is a great option if you have more than one child. It took us 5:24 minutes in total to put together the BOB Sport Utility from packing and putting it together.

4. Cybex Aton

Cybex is well known for its high-quality seats and simple-to-use features. This seat is not an exception. It is among our top infant car seat. This is largely because of its design and the fact that it can be used with all Cybex strollers and some from other brands too to be used as the Travel System. This seat has excellent safety features.

In our Infant Car Seats tests the Cybex Aton scores above average in both forward-facing and rear-facing installation and comfort. It comes with a headrest that adjusts to 11 different height positions and a no-rethread strap system that makes it easier to adjust the straps as your child grows. Cybex seats also have a load leg on the base to limit the chance of a crash to rotate and anti-rebound protection to keep your child in the center of the seat.

The Aton is iSize approved from birth and is compatible with the Cybex Base M isofix base to provide an additional level of security. It also has an innovative linear side-impact defense that redirects and absorbs forces of collisions. The Aton's short shell may not fit in cars that are compact like some other models. Its canopy isn't as large and does not have a peek-a-boo window.

Another issue is the price. It's a costly seat and that's not even taking into account how much better it performs than most others in our tests. Fortunately, there are several other great options on the market with lower prices.
